Flavour of India - Illustration friday

Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed
Mahatma Gandhi

This illo is still a little rough on the edges but I need to go to bed! - Thanks for stopping by, please let me know what you think.

The quote certainly made me stop and think...so true. I love the atmosphere you've created here...looking through the archway to the towers and blue sky is very striking.

I'm not seeing the edges that you say are rough. Looks great to me. I agree with Carla; that sky in contrast to the building really grabs you.

Well, you've really caught some of the flavour of India - take it from an Indian :). So, how many places did you visit?

Good work! I'm enjoying some of your posts here. How cool it would be to visit the Studio Ghibli Museum (I love Miyazaki's movies).

I love the colors! And good one point perspective too - the road pulls me into it

Nice illo, and thanks for the visit! Did you travel to India? I love India too. Perhaps there could be darker tones for the shaded area like those ceilings...my two cents worth comments...hope it works!

Very nice! I was thinking of saffran, but I guess that in India it should be curry? (I guess I haven´t been in so many places after all ;) )
And I too like the quote :)
